Recently I could not get my copy of Adobe FlashPlayer to work.
I have tried to reload it a couple of times, with NO success.
I am on a Windows based system. Any suggestions???
Many, many THANKS for your help!
Browser?
There is a Firefox, etc., version and an IE version.
You might have the wrong version for your browser.
Also, I found I had to uninstall the previous version of Adobe Flash. There are ‘free’ uninstallers online (check Google).
What problems are you having?
Is the problem at a particular web site?
Install CCleaner. Then uninstall all of your Adobe Flash entries in 'Add/Remove Programs' or 'Programs and Features,' depending on your Windows OS. Once uninstalled, run CCleaner and let it clean your disk AND do the registry.
Reboot
When your system is back online, run the Flash installer. When complete, reboot one more time, and try again. You should be back in business.
Flash has more bugs than an anthill.
Google “flash player unresponsive”.
Adobe Flash 13.0 has some serious bug; I would delete it until they resolve their problems.
could be a hardware problem ... perhaps a loose nut behind the keyboard
I ran into this problem about a week ago. Uninstalling and reinstalling did not do it.
I finally had success when I ran the Windows Restore utility and picked a restore point before the problem occurred.
Buy a Mac instead. You won’t have near as many problems as MS Windows OS and they are much easier to use.
