Austrian skydiver and daredevil Felix Baumgartner jumped from 128,100 feet above the Earths surface on October 14th, 2012. Seven GoPro cameras recorded the jump and GoPro just released this incredible footage, showing from a new perspective of what it was like from Baumgartner's point of view.
Too many looking at it.
One bad dude. Loved how he had Joe Kittinger as his “mission control”.
Very cool. Kind of hard to watch, if you don’t like heights very much.
Breaking a record that stood for 50 years.
Notice his pulse and respiration rate monitor. More than twice of normal.
Wondering why no sonic boom surpassing Mach1 and topping out at 819mph in freefall?
Wonder how a sonic boom wearing only a suit can impact the body?
Wow! Just, Wow!

Wow, just...wow..!
That landing was possibly the best part of it all. Keeping his mind and thoughts together enough to land like he was stepping off of the stairs.
Wow!!! Thanks for posting. I watched this when it was televised live and was amazed that he didn’t lose consciousness when he was in that uncontrolled spin. I’m even more amazed at seeing it from HIS cam. Very impressive. I guess he couldn’t get the spin controlled until his arms and hands had better control once he had fallen to denser air (based upon viewing the rapid decrease in his terminal velocity shown on his readout).
