The government didn’t force him to resign so there is no free speech issue here. That doesn’t mean I like it.

A company has a right to fire anyone for any reason, or atleast it should have that right. The employee has a right to find a different job. Customers have a right to boycott. I do not see how this is different than a religious school throwing out a homosexual teacher. The system works.

Don’t tell me you’re going to use Internet Explorer now. Despite them forcing the guy out, Firefox, along with Google, is the browser and search engine combo that I like best.

I disagree. ANY time an individuals’ right to express their private opinion is stifled, it’s a free speech issue. Government doesn’t need to be involved.

Read the official statement by the Mozilla spokeswomyn?

Said that equality is a prerequisite for free speech.

Iow, if you dont support their “equality” you have no right to speak out in opposition.

Welcome to 1984.

The government can defend your right to hold an unpopular opinion and still keep your job, as it did with other minority characteristics. Discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation was made illegal. So why not having an opinion about sexual orientation? Especially since his personal opinion did not influence his work or his management of others at work?

Granted I think the government should stay out of personal, business, and most other affairs in the first place, but that ship sailed long ago.

Who here says the company doesn’t have the legal right to fire somebody? Nobody denies that. But it’s still morally wrong for the homosexual mafia to viciously attack someone with traditional Christian values. The system does not work.

Nazism lives in the form of the gaystapo.

When will this tyranny over freedom of thought, freedom of religion end?

George Takei posted an article today on Facebook, gloating over the termination. He got hundreds and hundreds of comments from his fans (his *fans!*) calling him out for it.
