These are considered to be the Greatest Actresses in film based on talent, versatility, influence, characterization, charisma, and success in the movie business. (The actors are followed by a movie that showcases their talent.) How many of these great movies have you seen?

I’ve seen 14 of the movies listed, but I’ve seen movies with most all of these actresses. I cannot say that the cited films are necessarily the actresses’ best work.
37/100 for me.
I’ve seen 64 of them, but the performances were certainly not all that great...I mean Demi Moore in GI Jane? Really? But not Marissa Tomei in Vinny? Go figure.
These lists are way too subjective. Best Actress? Calculate the total, inflation adjusted box office. Money talks.
They picked Daryl Hannah and Drew Barrymore, over Helen Hayes and Judi Dench. Give me a break.
Raquel?
Two of the most overrated, overmarketed actresses (and I use that term loosely) that ever existed.
I had seen about 90% of the older films and only about 20% of the newer films. I don’t like Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Haley Barry, or Susan Sarandon. Love all the old movies. Anything by Bette Davis, Jennifer Jones (Love is a Many Splendored Thing, Portrait of Jennie, Love Letters), Elizabeth Taylor (Raintree County all time favorite movie), or Greer Garson (Random Harvest and Goodbye Mr. Chips). I had seen 61.
When I first saw the list it seemed OK tho I thought the movies were awful. After reading of some of the actresses who were left off, I agree with you.
Both the list of actresses and movies is about as bad as one could do without purposely choosing bad ones.
69. I had trouble on the more recent ones.
Ooohhhh, sorry.
It was, Gennice.
Ok, Vermont Lt, you still have control of the board...
I’ve seen 39 of them. Yes, some title were truncated...and some were misspelled.
Cate Blanchett was great in “Elizabeth.”
I’ve seen “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” twice. Fascinating film, and Richard Burton’s performance made the movie, IMO.
you have got to be kidding....some of those are classics
Lol,...not that there’s anything wrong with that...
Fascinating, indeed. It was like the horrible car crash on the freeway that you can’t help but stare at. Both Taylor and Burton gave incredible performances.
The plot surprise was pretty evident about one-third of the way through, though.
Cate Blanchett should have been in the top 10. Her performance in Blue Jasmine is one of the best I’ve ever seen.
Got 81.
I got 88, but I do like old movies and anytime I see one on that I haven’t seen, I watch it.
Again, I have seen most of these ladies, but I don’t agree that these are all of their best movies.
