A new set of seating is being torn down outside the Plymouth Wildcats varsity boys baseball field, not long before the season begins, because the fields for boys and girls athletics must be equal. [ ]
(A)fter a complaint, the U.S Education Departments Office for Civil Rights investigated the new addition and says it must be torn down. It says the facility was no longer equal to the girls softball field next door, which has old bleachers and an old scoreboard.

Feed from the federal trough, obey federal rules.
Thank Nixon for this.
Yep, tear DOWN the seating in the boys’ field...
Don’t THINK of BUILDING the same type of seating in the girls’ instead...
That’s equality for ya. -Lowest common denominator equality.
50 monkeys on keyboards could write better legislation than this.
This is just a mirror of the Obama World. Equality means taking from someone and giving to another so we are all equal. The problem is that,in this case, someone lost and nobody improved. Great job Feds.
Once again, the libtard version of “equality”... equally miserable.
Parts of this country are just stark raving mad.
What I don’t get about this whole girls sports thing is...
I thought the Supreme Court ruled separate but equal was not constitutional?
So, applying that to sports, women shouldn’t have separate sports teams.
This is the continuing problem with federalism.
This isn’t federalism, though. This is centralism.
People who achieve personal success and professional excellence through hard work might not be inclined to vote Democrat. Just saying.
This isnt federalism, though.

You’re right. It is Fedzilla.
When my granddaughter was 10, she played with the boys...and then they got big and strong...and she knew they weren’t equal.
Sounds like this could be one of those “teaching moments” liberals are always blathering on about.
Like everything of the left,
it’s not about bringing up those seen as having less,
it’s about knocking down those that are seen as having more.
When my granddaughter was 10, she played with the boys...and then they got big and strong...and she knew they werent equal.

But she will no doubt be better and more talented than the boys in other endeavors. Life does not intend for us all to be equal in everything.
Why didn’t someone chain themselves to the bleachers in protest?
It didn’t say much about the complainant;just curious about that.
When the school and court couldn't figure out how to let her play foot ball but not be blocked or touched they ended up killing the sports program altogether.
