During a rant on his radio show Tuesday, Glenn Beck told his audience that he prayed to God that Russian President Vladimir Putin would die.
It sounds harsh, but Beck seems to believe that what Putin is doing in Russia essentially amounts to starting World War III. As part of his outburst, Beck also mentioned that the unrest in Russia would soon spread to Europe.
“I’ve never prayed for the Lord to take anybody before, but I have started praying with my family last night that the Lord calls Mr. Putin home soon,” Beck said.
One of the ways that Beck imagined Putin could meet his end was by being swallowed by a giant whale.
“I don’t want any ill will to happen to him, but if it’s time for him to be called home, but it wouldn’t suck,” Beck said.
Beck predicted “the newly reformed Soviet Union and China will work together to collapse the United States and the West, resulting in a New World Order.”
Beck is nuts.
What a nut. Sounds like he needs to work the 12 steps again.
My understanding of the Lord’s teachings leads me to to believe these kinds of requests through prayer are frowned upon.
The sickest thing is that he’s doing this with his family.
My MIL used to pray that President Reagan would die..

Notice how Glenn has never said this about the cartel of commies who are ruthlessly destroying America.
With a great deal of help from Obama, Reid, et al. Let Europe handle Russia this time around; it's their turn.

I guess that Mr. Beck thinks that what Jesus said was not translated correctly. The 'beauty' of Mormonism is that you can pick whatever you want to believe, of the Bible. Reminds me of what Satan said in the Garden, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”
