It also doesn't include the two points I made: it doesn't factor in education, particularly the fact that even for the college educated, some degrees pay more than others. Neither does it factor in years of experience in paying jobs.
When all of these are considered, the pay gap disappears.
I've never heard a religious leader say that.
It should also be noted that men do almost all of the most dangerous work, much of which is higher paying than less-exciting lines of employment. As a result, they are injured and die on the job at much higher rates.
I’d also like to know why it isn’t automatically classified as discrimination that men are arrested, charged, convicted and sent to jail at much higher rates than females. Disproportionate impact and all that.
Liberals are very strange people.
Women have throughout history been generally treated darn poorly, including little more than 100 years ago being routinely cremated alive along with their deceased hubby.
Females in the western world today are the most privileged females in the history of the world, yet the quite minor disparities still existing between the sexes are taken as automatic indictments of the injustice of Western Civ and particularly of Christianity.
