What do you do when FR is down ?
lol! That sums it up perfectly!
Look above me.
Ok, Soo, I found the link.
http://www.tomnod.com/nod/challenge/malaysiaairsar2014
It is “waiting for map to load”...forever....
My thought was to compare images from this site to images from Google earth of potential landing sites in Indonesia.
If they landed, they would likely work very quickly to cover or camouflage the plane.
I fear the passengers are dead, not by a crash but at the hands of Hijackers.
BTW, was there anything you did to get this site to work?
That is forum gold !
Seriesly ! LOL
Sat around wondering whether the DoJ had taken down and was busy culling IP addresses ... for future “use”.
;-)
Found the Yahoo board, and saw it wasn’t just me having problems. Finished re-reading books 2 and 3 of the Enemies Foreign and Domestic trilogy. (Worthwhile reading if you haven’t read them yet!)
Yep, I’ve seen Barton’s stuff, but not the one you’re talking about. Well presented. I do wish however that FR would keep that quick video on the NRA front-and-center so that more people might see it and pass it on.
No, I just hit it a couple of times.
Mrs. Liberty told me there was a story on Fox News about this tomnod app. They expected thousands of people to click in and search, and they had *over two million* searchers online at the same time. Searchers reported about 100,000 objects, of which ten have been taken to the next level.
Yea, I heard the Fox news report and figured the site would get overwhelmed.
I’m on Google Earth, looking for remote landing strips.
1. Ordered a ‘single serving’ teapot. (The two ForLife Serenity I have are no longer being produced, so time to shelve them).
2. I played my “Silent Hunter 3” computer game. Had a rash of malfunctioning torpedoes, but was not depth charged. (For a real challenge, do NOT choose a sub with a deck gun!)
3. Watched my recordings of the new season of “Vikings”. Ol’ Rollo there, I wonder ....
4. Listened to Walton and Johnson, ‘on the radio’. (Stevie Ray Vaughn wailing at 0530 local, Central time, starts the show.)
5. Watched some YouTube videos I downloaded about ‘snubbies’.
Then shut down the machine and had lunch with recorded NCIS shows, a nap, then came back on.
(I’ve been busy since 0330 this morning.)
Oyage, Gus. Oyage!
Thanks for the link, I will watch it and most likely forward it.
