“It’s supposed to make it more watchable but only serves as a reminder that I need to continue channel surfing.”

I don’t watch any of the reality stuff anymore. Stopped watching way back during MTV’s “Real World” series, when they kicked the one interesting character, “Puck”, off the show at the behest of an AIDS-ridden homo roommate that he had offended. I figured that it wasn’t going to be getting any better after that, and it hasn’t.

OK, I got a Amish question.

Are you sure they were Amish? They could have been strict order Mennonite, or even Church of the Brethren. All three groups dress very similar.

LOL, you either love them or hate them. We love ours but sometimes they are too smart for their own good. I started calling them that when they were puppies and it just stuck.

I think they are great dogs, Neighbors of my in laws had one and he was really smart. He would sit on the neighbors lap while the neighbor cut his lawn with the riding lawn mower.

“They even have their own retirement community in Florida.”

Interesting, I’ve never heard that before.

“Remember, all Amish are Mennonites, but not all Mennonites are Amish.”

I don’t know the difference.

Mennonites are more “liberal.”

If the women are wearing any colored clothes, they aren’t Amish.

It’s called Pinecraft near Sarasota. I grew up with mostly Amish neighbors. Most of my best friends have been Amish and I’ve learned a lot from them.

They were wearing colored clothing, just simple plaids and patterns.

I currently have five dogs, mostly rescues, but my JRT’s are my house dogs. When my three big dogs are all gone I will probably just have JRT’s from then on. They are such tough hardy little guys and SO smart!
