LOL! I clicked because I had just seen a FB post somebody put up a post about a Russian (or maybe Ukrainian?) woman who wants to look like a living Barbie. Wow, was she scary!
Crime, with the exception of petty crimes like pickpocketing, actually goes down during the parade season. Too many people having a good time.
You may be right on that.
I have seen strangers dance hand in hand on Canal Street on Fat Tuesfay and be hating each other again on Thursday.

I also forgot to mention that NOLA brings in police, deputies, and state troopers from all over the state during the parade season. It’s not unusual to stand on the parade route and count 20 to 30 police within eye site. And then you have all the under cover police and private security guards as well. The shootings usually occur at the second line parades.
