Pot Goes Up In Smoke After Molotov Cocktail Is Thrown Into South LA Medical Marijuana Dispensary

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police say some of the merchandise at a medical marijuana dispensary in South Los Angeles went up in smoke Monday morning after someone threw a Molotov cocktail through the window.
The fire bomb went through the glass of a dispensary in the 5300 block of South Hoover Street at about 3 a.m., Los Angeles police Sgt. Rick Rodgers said.

I’m thinking the dealers are protecting their turf. Back in the 60s in Kansas City there was an attempt to revive the waterfront area of the Missouri River. It started with farmers markets etc. People started going into the area. Nightclubs popped up which pissed off the Mafia. Bombings and killings effectively shut down the area for night time activities.
