I’m thinking the dealers are protecting their turf. Back in the 60s in Kansas City there was an attempt to revive the waterfront area of the Missouri River. It started with farmers markets etc. People started going into the area. Nightclubs popped up which pissed off the Mafia. Bombings and killings effectively shut down the area for night time activities.

5300 South Hoover Avenue is one of the worst of the worst areas in Los Angeles. I bet one of the dispensary’s patients was not happy with the service or the quality of the medication.
