The militarization of US police forces is ongoing and escalating. Many cities and towns now own tanks, armed personnel carriers, even attack helicopters, and almost all are outfitted with military weapons not available to the general public.
And, it is not just your hometown cops who are getting new boy-toys. The military itself is buying up weaponry not just for use in the current or next scheduled war, but to deal with the likes of you...
Also ignored (as if it didnt even exist) is the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 which generally bars the military from law enforcement activities within the United States.
According to Public Intelligence:
for the last two years, the Presidents Budget Submissions for the Department of Defense have included purchases of a significant amount of combat equipment, including armored vehicles, helicopters and even artillery, under an obscure section of the FY2008 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for the purposes of homeland defense missions, domestic emergency responses, and providing military support to civil authorities.
and the US government knows that civil uprisings are coming to a town near you just as soon as the fantasy of a healing economy is shattered, the US dollar fails, and unemployment goes to 30%+ in real numbers.
And, to you tough-talking Neo-Cons with your AR-15 rifles and a few thousand rounds of ammo, here is the reality: they will take your guns, and no, all your Second Amendment bluster aside, you are not going to do anything about it. You are not going to take on a platoon of Marines with state-of-the-art automatic weapons...

“...They were taken in large numbers in New Orleans without a single shot fired...”
That was a little different as the hurricane shock and awe had just come through and many were without neighbors due to evacuations.
Many Yankees thought they had it in the bag in 1862 because New Orleans and Nashville were easily taken but they were in for some tougher campaigns down the line.
Love those words, they’re tough but true!
Personally, I think they'll try for city-by-city… using a template like this, and targeting cities that their social-network mappings have clusters of would-be leaders of resistance.
I dont believe the military would stand for it. At least the grand majority.
Perhaps that's why they want to control communication/news… you could have the vast majority of troops believing the official story (terrorist deep-cover/sleeper-cells) with, say, only the top general knowing the details.
Wonderful eyes and we came to wear our shoes ... Hint ... Combat Boots.
Amos is a tool.
Thank you for posting. Most moto I’ve seen in quite a while.

Folks forget that there is an organziation called “Oath Keepers” on retired/active military and police.
That may be the end result but in certain parts of the country, LEOs trying to confiscate will die. Just stating a simple fact.
> Many in the military should be prepared to have their own homes raided as they have their own personal weapons cached at home.

> Well they allow that to happen?
Many military personnel are required to keep their personal arms in the arms room (notably those that live in barracks).
Those living in on-base housing may be subject to similar restrictions.
They have our back (imho). See Sheriffs.
I haven’t heard that story, but any time a grenade is working as advertised and it is still in your hand it is a bad thing.
Obviously he hasn’t considered all of the old-cons. He’s probably only seen city born neo-cons.
Horse shoes and hand grenades ... Close makes points. Move on! Forward!!!
And there is a huge difference between SWAT operations and light infantry tactics. SWAT is used to making a perimeter and using 20 to 1 odds on a small scale. Having to protect a perimeter is a lot harder.
The only voice that will be explaining anything will be the government's.
