Obamacare’s partially read fiats, already under fire for forcing restaurants and vending machine operators to affix calorie labels to offerings, also mandate informing the public about calories burned during certain activities, according to the latest fatwa, issued today, by the Department of Health and Human Services.
The fatwa requires “Any business, institution, municipality, or other entity to place signage in no less than 14 languages, which must include Spanish, Urdu, and any three varieties of Pidgin English, within two vertical feet and five linear feet of escalators, elevators, and moving walkways, inter alia, informing the public on how many calories ambulating or climbing a stairwell in place of utilizing available powered transportation will consume.”

I think it’s satire, too, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it were true. I would never have thought that losing your job could be spun into something good & desirable for society..........
Even though it appears to be satire I would still look at whose relative owns a sign or placard company.

true, that’s why I stated “if those signs do appear”. I certainly haven’t ginned up any printing presses to print piles of those pictures.
This was 20 years ago. Sounds to me like all those people who have had it in their minds to control people have found a way to do it. And, get it codified in law.
I will leave with one thought - when our Founders began the Declaration of Independence with "We the People" they put us and our collective common sense into major play. WE are the People and our country is not theirs for the picking, otherwise our document would have read: Some of us who are Tyrants.
