PHOENIX, Residents of a Phoenix neighborhood said a pack of Chihuahuas have been wandering the streets for the past year and harassing residents.
Ray Rios of the Maryvale neighborhood said he has often seen the dogs wandering the area and chasing after children, KSAZ-TV, Phoenix, reported Tuesday.
"Yeah a lot of them, they are out here chasing kids or going yard to yard... anywhere in groups of eight to 12 just running around," Rios said.
Frank Garcia said the Chihuahuas seem to have friends.
"Well the last time I seen six or seven Chihuahuas ... and big dogs running with the Chihuahua's in a pack running every single day," he said.
Maricopa County Animal Control spokeswoman Melissa Gable said Maryvale received 6,000 calls for service last year, twice as many as in nearby Glendale.
"Obviously you have the deal with feces and is unsanitary and all these strays everyone is at risk for dog bites," Gable said. PHOENIX, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Residents of a Phoenix neighborhood said a pack of Chihuahuas have been wandering the streets for the past year and harassing residents.

Funny and true. Plus, in addition to the other threats roaming packs of those rats cause, that bark can flat damage your hearing.
I agree. Trying to drop-kick one could put a person at risk of getting bit by a potential rabies source.
It’s “Los Chimichangos”!
Call SkippyJohn Jones!
LOL!
Yes, I’m rather afraid of dogs but the only one who ever harmed me was a little fuzzy mop who lept up and nipped my leg. Tore my pants but didn’t break my skin thank goodness.
And the little old lady that owned the dog? She didn’t even apologize; she said I had brought it on myself by walking around behind her as she blocked the sidewalk gabbing with her friend.
A wonderful NYC moment to be sure. I was so flabbergasted I was speechless, for the one and only time in my life.
You should have punted the dog into the road.
We have two Chihuahuas and neither are like that....most bad dogs are due to bad owners. They are hyper for sure but you would be hard pressed to get either of them to bite short of hurting them!!!!! No one can sneak up on our house!!!
Miloh the Chipit (50% Pitbull and 50% Chihuahua) as a puppy at 9 weeks and 8 lbs.
With BB Caps the only sound you hear is the firing pin hitting the rim. Shorter barrels ensure the bullet clears the muzzle.
My ex said her family had one when she was a kid. It was such a nasty creature that they had to wear heavy gloves just to hold it when giving it a bath.

Or his mistress.
It could be worse. They could have a stampeding herd of Japanese rabbits:

See, I was thinking tennis racket.
Had a Yorkshire terrior and their teeth are a little more blunt and make better pets for the purpose of nips.
Smartest dog by far is the Papion. They seem to be brilliant for dogs.

They are so cute! I think terriers are pretty smart too. Hubby’s aunt had one and he said the dog was smarter than him. It would always convince hubby (by telepathy I suppose) to let him off the leash....then....off he’d go!
And I saw a little terrier waiting outside a deli once, I don’t know why but that doggie just looked like he was very smart. I said to myself I bet that dog is smarter than all the people in the store. He just looked so cute and alert.
