Residents of Oklahoma were left feeling rattled over the weekend after a strong of some 20 earthquakes as powerful as 3.5 magnitude rocked the central part of the state on Saturday alone.
Areas north of Oklahoma City felt the brunt of the temblors, which some say were accompanied by startling booms like the sound of an explosion.
The mystery earthquake wave now has residents fearing for their personal safety and the security of their property. Meanwhile, scientists have been left scratching their heads over the quakes, which are becoming more frequent each day.

Replace strong with string and I suspect youll see what the author intended to write... Yes. I see that now. My point still stands, however. :o)

I tossed a cold bucket of water on the panic party.
You should have called 9-1-1: "There's an earthquake!"
Operater: "Yeap. What do you expect us to do about it?"

Interesting. I’ve never seen anyone associate flares with earthquakes before. Concerning geomagnetic storms, is an ejection headed this way and what class?

That’s a very interesting article, and I bookmarked it for future reference. Many of the comments after the article are enlightening also.

Quakes in OK are not that abnormal.
Now didn’t Georgia have a 4.5 just a few days ago? Now THAT is strange.

I'm an amateur on the subject.
The man that did that video is far more knowledgeable on the subject than me.
Go to that video again and click on his pen-name and them research his latest video uploads.
I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
But I'd take the religious uploads with a grain of salty.

Thanks BenLurkin. Looks like Partisan Media Shilling and Meme-building on behalf of anti-frackers (IOW, OPEC supporters and Obarnacles).

Of course there is no reason to deal with facts and science taking into consideration that the epicenter of these quakes is at least 5 kilomaters deep and there is not a single well in the area deeper than 2 kilometers and no significant fracturing activity in the area.
There is no such word as FracKing.
You fracture (no K) and frac (again no K) and the act of creating a fracture is fracing (still no K)

A lot of times people don’t even notice a 3.5 earthquake.

Do you remember the earthquake that hit DC and Virginia in 2011? The last I heard, they were going to name the crack in the earth that caused it Bush’s Fault.
