I carry with a round in the chamber and the hammer down.I've always wondered how others who have the CZ82 carried it. I think I would be more comfortable with your way than "cocked and locked", but I guess it's all a matter of personal preference.

I just shoved the slide stop all of the way in and magically the gun worked. No more problems after that.

Since my other regular carry gun is a KelTec P-11 which has no safety, I like to carry the CZ that way to keep things simple. No need to mess with the safety. Draw and shoot.
The CZ can be carried safely that way (but you probably knew that).

I’d seen the first one before, and will have to check out the others. Thanks!

My CZ 82 may not be my favorite but it’s the one I keep with me. I carry it hammer down and pipe full also. Granted the stock trigger is ok, better than most, it’s just not as good as my Commander. Absolutely don’t want it like my Mark II Target.

That makes perfect sense. I’m in the same boat, since my other is the Kel-Tec P3AT (likewise, no safety). I may just follow your lead. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve got 7-8 cases of Fiocchi .357 Magnum 158gr HPs, from much cheaper times in 2002-03, and the Colt Trooper MK III and Henry Big Boy .357 Mag eat it just fine. Good stuff.

I haven’t seen any high priced 22lr ammo in my area. Of course, I haven’t seen any 22lr ammo in my area.

CDNN got in a shipment of Philippine .22lr recently. Sold out quickly at more than $.10 per round in 500 count lots. ... I bought two and grumbled the whole time. Have shot a couple of hundred now in my garage range. Very reliable ammo and burns cleans a Federal bulk.

There are at least 6 or 7 manufacturers of .22 rimfire that I can think of.

I wasn’t kidding when I said my area doesn’t have 22lr. I too have had to pay inflated prices online.

Spoke few days ago with a Wally World manager who is a friend and fellow shooter. I asked about .22lr ammo and he told me that the store cannot make an order, that there is an automatic order and a few bulk packs come in each and every week, but that there are local yokels who know when the trucks arrive (around 8pm on Wed or Thur) and they wait around and buy it all up at two per customer limit. He's on a shift that doesn't include that evening responsibility so even he can't get any!
