Sean Hannity may be making plans to leave New York after all. He has put his Long Island estate up for sale, asking $3.6 million, Newsday reports.
Hannity said on Jan. 20 he would leave his home state after Gov. Andrew Cuomo said on a radio program that Republicans who are "right-to-life, pro-assault weapons, anti-gay
have no place in the state of New York because that's not who New Yorkers are."

I have a hard time going to the NE to meet with the customer. I don’t think I could ever move there. Especially since I can’t take my scary guns.

I love Virginia, but but Northern Virginia/DC (where I live/work) is poison. I’d move to Texas in a heartbeat if I could.

His name was Hans Conrad Shumann. A 19 - year old East German border guard who escaped to freedom in the West by jumping the last section of Berlin Wall as it slowly closed. The photo is a still from the newsreel footage of the day. I watched the newsreel when first released, completely transfixed as a boy in a movie theater in 1961. I was deeply affected by it. Many years later, in 1989, I walked through the shattered sections of the Berlin Wall, retrieving two large pieces in the German national colors. The German people erected a statute at the very place where he jumped, so that he would never be forgotten. Eine Deutschland. Freedom. Is. Everything.

Me too! My husband I are getting out this summer. Heading to beautiful SW Florida. I did my time and paid 42 years worth of NY and NJ taxes. Totally time to pack it in.

He would have to give up his TV show so don’t look at it too soon.

I would REALLY respect him if he had a special live broadcast on Fox News where he presses a plunger, sets of the preset C4 charges and blows that house to kingdom come.
“There, Governor Cuomo. Let’s see ya try and tax THAT!”

Hell milk it for all the drama he can before he actually leaves

I have long wondered why Sean Hannity has put up with NY State for as long as he has; I'd have moved long ago. That said, if Sean actually drops the hammer on the Empire State and leaves for FL or TX or elsewhere, count on the State of NY to audit him every year. NY will require him to “prove” he doesn't live in NY or earn income there in a dozen different ways.
Limbaugh left NY at least a decade ago and the State of NY audits him every year. That is how vindictive and stupid the Donkeys are in NY. Get out of NY, Sean, and don't look back.

He’s got two school-aged kids. It’s pretty difficult to uproot them just to make a political point.

Ack! Sorry I read the whole thing, viz.:
Following returning home from a from a family rowing trip, on 20 June 1998 the weight of his depression proved to great for the Cold War icon and Schumann committed suicide. He hung himself in his orchard near the town of Kipfenberg where his wife Kunigunde would find him hours later.
