OK there is a question being asked right now on Fox News Channel, about jobs.
Specifically the question was "Where have all the jobs gone".
Duh. CHINA.
Now.
When I was a young man, they built big buildings, filled them with machines to make stuff, and called them factories.
When I was middle aged, they built big buildings, filled them with stuff made in China, and called them distribution centers.
Now that I’m old, they don’t build big buildings anymore.

Those aren’t US jobs. They are Chinese jobs.
Lessse...The greedy fatcorps sent thousands of companies to Communist China for those 1930s wages...While the greedy corrupt in the U.S. government intentionally flooded the U.S. with tens of millions of low wage illegals...
Is there anyone in America who thought this would somehow end well for the American poor and middle class??

They are American jobs. To sell the products, in America.
Bring them back home. Now.

Manufacturing, yes, but a lot of those positions were lost already decades ago to Japan, Taiwan South Korea, etc. Those countries may have actually lost more manufacturing jobs recently than we have.
In tech support/customer service, obviously, a lot have gone to India and Bangladesh but many have also gone to the Philipines and Mexico.
In the airline industry a lot of jobs have gone to Central America and the Caribbean as more maintenance is being done for cheap down there.
They haven’t gone anywhere. More work is being done by less people globally, automation continues to improve, you can’t make it stop.

China now makes far too much, of what is sold in America.

You can disagree all you want, the facts are the facts. Every country on the planet has lost manufacturing jobs in the last decade, INCLUDING China. The jobs are gone, they weren’t sent they were disintegrated, they will never come back because they quite simply do not exist anymore. Meanwhile productivity keeps climbing while employment drops. There’s nothing to bring back, the jobs don’t exist.
Higher prices and more idiotic regulations, like Obamacare, ought to do the trick.

More even than America, and they continue to grow.
