In the small town where I used to live, there was this person who looked like a man (and an ugly one) but dressed like a woman and worked as a prostitute. We always referred to that person as “it” and everybody in town knew who we were talking about.
I wonder if the people who hire “Bon Appétit” are aware of just “what” is handling their food?
Well, since it is not he or she it is therefore not human. As such it should be squashed like a bug.

Apparently ‘they’ like to be called ‘Ze’ and ‘Hir’, but I bet if you call a Ze a Hir or a Hir a Ze by mistake - you could get sued too....
I call ‘em Shims - a grammatically incorrect smooshing of She/Hims.....Shims

however it chooses to dress and behave should determine the pronouns
(just how would anybody else know it was an it, anyway, unless...?)
I wonder if that is the same “person”; sure looks as though it could be.
The word is “it”.
OHH it’s Pat OH OKAY
LOL!
When a baby is born, the doctor takes a quick look and declares it a boy or girl. What now, do we ask the parents?
“The Oregonian suggests that people in LGBTQ communities sometimes prefer the plural word they instead of he or she.”
THEY? So I would have to use a clearly incorrect pronoun to please the sicko? No, not going to happen.
That is the case in most languages that I’ve come across.
To some degree, feminine gender is a default in English. Although most inanimate objects are an “it”. We often say “she” or “her” about the country, a car, a ship, etc., but we do not say “he”, “him”, or “his”. Oddly, this even applies to ships named after men and to inanimate objects intended to model a male, like a mechanical bull, e.g. “Get on ‘er Jim. I bet she’ll throw you off in 3 seconds.”
Homo-fruit is a perfectly cromulent term!
Nope! "It" is a proper noun and already taken. He/she is a blood relative to Gomez or Morticia. I don't know which, but I do know he/she is a cousin.
Furthermore, It has a great deal more common sense and pride that Valeria can claim.
“It” rings a bell, “bad experiment”, “mutant”, “the thing”, “spawn”
Do a DNA test, and you’ll find out what he/she is. Doesn’t matter what he/she calls him/her-self.
