TAYLOR, Mich. (WJBK) -
Employees at Beer Belly's Bar in Taylor have been receiving threatening phone calls after a video began circulating the Internet that suggests the bar does not allow "colored" customers.
A sign hangs outside the bar that reads "NO COLORS ALLOWED." Some understood the sign to mean no black people were allowed inside, but the owner explains why that is the incorrect interpretation of the sign.
The sign actually refers to bikers not being allowed to wear their gang colors on the property.

You can’t fix stupid
I think he’s being pretty niggardly in who he let’s into his establishment. That’s a black mark on him.
The guy who made that sign was niggardly with his letters.
Now we've gone from racist to sexist.

If people weren't so niggardly about increasing their vocabularies, we wouldn't have these problems.
He had to know how that would be interpreted. Some people just like to provoke, and poke at the caged lion with a stick, sort of like George Zimmerman has sadly become.
Did you read Constance Cumby’s prophetic book from 1980s titled “The Hidden Dangers of The Rainbow”? We are living it now.
In this area, the signs are more genteelly worded, under the heading “dress code.”
Having spent many an hour at the Boot Hill Saloon in Daytona Beach, that was pretty obvious.
Yes they are......
One of the dive bars on Michigan in Lansing had a sign behind the bar, “We don’t serve clubs or colors”, same idea. Yet, most of the clientele were bikers.
I recall, from my youth, “Taylor-bama” and “Ypsi-tucky”
Didn’t a team from Taylor win the ASA Nat’ls back in the early 90s? They set a single game home-run mark during the tourny, too.
——He could add to the sign a picture of a local biker jacket with the big red X in order to clarify his intent.——
Oh’ horse pucky....let the idiots who think it’s a racist thing...figure out how dumb they really are...
