An eye-watering X-ray shows the damage to the poor man who claimed he had no idea the bottle got there.
When asked what he thought may be giving him such bad pains he played the fool.
But after seeing the shocking X-ray results, it all came flooding back.
The man, who does not want to be named, confessed to inserting the bottle in his home and then trying to use a steel wire to to fish it out. Of course .the wire got stuck as well.
Doctors at the hospital in Fuzhou, the capital of southeast China's Fujian Province, were forced to operate on the man after it was found his bowel had been pierced.
The whereabouts of the bottle and wire are unknown but are recommended to remain untouched.
I hate it when that happens.
It could happen to anyone.
I knew a guy that worked at a hospital. One of the x-ray guys had a folder with copies of x-rays of this kind of stuff that he would pull out during night-shift coffee breaks.
I recall him talking about a light bulb (that needed to be broken to get removed), and a guy with a bunch of Barbie heads shoved up there (like 13 or something!).
SICK!!!
“It was a million to one shot, Doc, a million to one!”
” sex sent me to the E R “
Sorry! No banana peel. The guy gets only a dishonorable mention. His genes are still swimming in the pool.
Maybe he was too asshamed to tell them he bent over and mooned a guy at the bar on Friday night and got had!
Thank heavens no gerbils were harmed.
This is right of of an episode of Jackass in fact.
In a way, his story seems Hemingwayesque.
A failed writer reflects on his wasted life as he lies in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro with a rotting leg wound. When a rescue plane evacuates the man, he looks down and sees a leopard lying in the snow on top of Kilimanjaro. How did the leopard ever get there? This symbolizes the striving of the true artist.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, a man lies in the hospital. The operating room staff marvels what appears to be a bottle up his keester....
We adopted our daughter in Fuzhou...! Not exactly relevant to the story but it caught me by surprise to see it. I don’t even want to know the “how” of having to use a wire to fish out a bottle and then losing them both in that part of your body...!
Ha! Well done! Have a good weekend!
For sale. Baby shoes. Never used.
This man's story:
For sale. Bottle. Used once.
They ate all the gerbils...
One such story involved a "pony" cocktail glass. The person involved was a minor, so his Dad was called to the ER and shown the X-ray in order to get his permission to operate.
The Dad's response?
"How the hell did he swallow that thing?"
LOL
