Billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch fired back at Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Friday in a rare public rebuke after the Democrat used the Senate floor to accuse them of trying to "buy the country.

They have every right to purchase the country, like the Rockefellers and Mellons did before them.
Democrap leaders love to go to the safety of the well and attack US citizens. Harry is particularly good at hiding out in the Senate and hurling inuendo and insults at the citizenry. What a punk.
Has Harry ever made a payroll ?
(other than a Nevada kickback )
When Soros does it, it’s good. When the Koch’s do it, it’s bad. I think I get the picture.
“To be sure, the Kochs have given “more than a hundred million dollars to right wing causes” (which is their right, by the way). But in the last decade, it’s also worth noting the Kochs have given more than $600 million in pledged or donated money to arts, education, and medical research, including (but not limited to):
New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell: $15 million
M.D. Anderson Cancer Center: $25 million
The Hospital for Special Surgery: $26 million
Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center: $30 million
Prostate Cancer Foundation: $41 million
Deerfield Academy: $68 million
Lincoln Center’s NY State Theater: $100 million
Massachusetts Institute of Technology: $139 million
Here we have civic-minded business leaders engaging in their right to participate in the political process — and also donating large amounts of wealth to philanthropic causes. “
No condemnation of George Soros or Tim Gill, however from Mr. Reid.
At least the Koch brothers are trying to buy the country with their own money. Dingy harry is buying the country with our money.
Mob connected Harry Reid making accusations is a joke. A sick joke.
What we need is more wealthy folks who will stand up and put their resources behind defending and promoting freedom and free markets.
From the article: “Ellender praised McConnell for his “great courage” in taking on Democrats over the issue, Politico reports.” Where’s the barf bag, already? We know what McConnell thinks of conservatives. We also know how much “courage” his statement took.
Reid and the Dems are such hypocrites. They are the ones who are generous with other people’s money acquired through legalized theft. The Koch brothers earned their money and are not bankrupting the nation.
The proper response is expulsion from the Senate.
I’d accept pretty much any method by which that would be accomplished.
Thanks rktman.
