For the first time they are persistently in the same place, at the same time

I married you for better or worse, but not for lunch.

When he was younger he looked like the guy who played in AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON. Now he looks like Elliot Gould.

Evidently, informed sources in Beverly Hills inform us, the split is over professional differences. Captain is said to have been unhappy about being just a nameless, faceless ‘Captain’ unrecognized on the street and at Rodeo Drive boutiques, and proposed a change to the name of the duo, Daryl and Sapper, which Ms Tennille and her team of attorneys rejected.

I have co-pays at the VA because of our combined income. If we were divorced I wouldn’t have co-pays. Not gonna’ do, though.

I’m 76 and never heard of them, they couldn’t have been much.

Dale, you were probably still listening to Sinatra and Dino when this act was popular in the late seventies. They were a pop music act, which is why you probably never heard them.

Yeah, I've always thought he looked freaky. No irises, just black dots.

And I always wondered why she was Toni Tennille and not Toni Dragon. (When you're a kid you think about these things).

“If that’s the case, doesn’t that make this that much worse? In sickness and in health, etc? Why abandon him now?”

I agree. I was just stating why the Captain couldn’t get out of the house. It is also possible to get a civil divorce without actually separating.

I figured that out after one episode of Burns and Allen.

Between 65 and 95 percent of divorces are filed by women.

I liked her style of singing in her later years; less pop, more classic. Here’s “More Than You Know” (1984)

This is an update on the classic L. Paul and M. Ford; “How High the Moon” (1987)

Compare with the original (1951)

Captain never got his due. Only Toni Tennillee got credit for singing on Pink Floyd’s (and Toni Tennillee’s) The Wall album.

I quit music in 1945 when i played in the Los Angeles Junior Philharmonic Orchestra and my mother let me quit taking music lessons.

Quit going to Sunday school and got into hot rods and drag racing and never looked back.
