Captain is said to have been unhappy about being just a nameless, faceless ‘Captain’ unrecognized on the street and at Rodeo Drive boutiques, and proposed a change to the name of the duo, Daryl and Sapper, which Ms Tennille and her team of attorneys rejected.
Captain never got his due. Only Toni Tennillee got credit for singing on Pink Floyd’s (and Toni Tennillee’s) The Wall album.
I think this is just a bluff so they can reunite for their induction in next year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony.
