HARTFORD (CBS Connecticut) Tom Brady wont be one of the millions of people watching the Super Bowl.
Speaking to WEEI a day after the New England Patriots lost to the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship game, Brady admitted he will not be sitting in front of a television to see the Broncos play the Seattle Seahawks on Feb. 2.

Who cares less?!
The last few years the ads haven't been very good.
There for a while they were definitely the highlight of the whole affair...
What aging ex-superstar will bore the hell of us during halftime?
Holy sour grapes!
Is there an equivalent measure for “sour” like there is hotness for peppers? Scoville units?
If there is, this one’s gotta be OFF THE SCALE!
aging doesn't really apply but here he is:
I’m a Pats fan and Brady fan, but this sounds like sour grapes. On top of that, he’s biting the hand that feeds him.
I cannot imagine what it must be like to play at that level and lose. So I think I can give him a pass on not being "interested" in the SB. Pun not intended.
However, I doubt seriously that Peyton Manning would have said the same thing if the shoe were on the other foot. IMHO, a much classier guy.
My wager is that he'd be rooting for Seattle though, even if "secretly".
He and Brady have a LONG rivalry.
There was one memorable play in that first super bowl.
The Chiefs had a db named Frank “the hammer” williams or was it williamson? Anyway he bragged before the game about his famous hammer blow. He showed how he would hit the running backs etc. with his forearm. He got lots of attention and everyone was waiting to see it.
Green Bay running back Donnie Anderson ran over him, knocking him cold. They took “the hammer” off the field on a stretcher.
Anderson had signed with Green Bay getting a large bonus. The Green Bay players yelled at Anderson saying “what did you hit him with, your pocket book”.
I could care more, but on second thought I think I’ll care less.
I COULDN’T care less!
He will be watching.
I asked my dad if he watched and he told me he didn't. He didn't like sports (at the time), and couldn't care less.
Dad! You had the opportunity to watch that greatness and didn't even watch? It was on TWO channels at the same time. How could you avoid it?
It wasn't until I started liking football that he finally started watching.
Now HE loves it.
My first remembered SB? Vikings vs. Raiders, SB XI.
I was such a nut, that we even ate dinner in the family room.
Mom, isn't Snake Stabler cool?
Oh, son, I think the Vikings uniforms are pretty.
Mom! Don't RUIN it for me!
She’s gute but kinda hard-lookin’. In the face. She’d be a b***buster.
I still miss the half-time “Butt-bowl”
Because I don't like the amount of time, capital and interest going into the equivalent of the Roman Empire's "bread and circuses" distraction.
