One night I heard my dad in his tv room laughing his *** off. Had to ask, what was he watching? He said, sit down and watch. Before long, the two of us were laughing so hard and loud, my mother yelled for us to quiet down. The windows were open and the neighbors could hear us.
That was my introduction to Benny Hill. Eventually, my mother put aside her propriety and watched with us. We all became big fans.
Rest in peace, Benny Hill, and thank you for all the laughs.
