A police officer shot dead his wife, two children and mother-in-law before turning the gun on himself, authorities said today.
The bodies of Joshua Boren, 34, Kelly Boren, 32, Joshua Boren, 7, five-year-old Haley Boren and Marie King, 55, were discovered in a gruesome scene at their home in Spanish Fork, Utah on Thursday.
Police said the five were found dead about 11pm when co-workers became concerned that Boren didn't show up for his night shift as a patrol officer at the Lindon Police Department.

Mrs Boren posted this picture of her children on social media on Thursday. The family were found shot dead by her husband later that day.

The five deaths come days after another Utah murder-suicide that left three people dead.
Kyler Ramsdell-Oliva, 32, fatally shot her two daughters, Kenadee Oliva, 13, and Isabella Oliva, 7, on Tuesday before killing herself at their home in Syracuse, police said.
The murder-suicide happened a day after Ms Ramsdell-Oliva's fiancé packed up to move out of their home.
Nope. They're union.
Ouch. LORD, have mercy.
Nauseating.Depression has been shown to be a biological disorder with a genetic facet to it.So it could be argued that in *some* cases at least a suicide is difficult to prevent.But taking others with you...particularly kids...*no* excuse for *that*.Disgusting!

I’ve heard that cops have the highest rate of divorce above other professions. Its a tough demanding job.
And what with more and more cops going over to the jack booted thug side....
Its a wonder more things like this aren’t happening.

I’d say ban no-fault divorce, but lawyers dontate to Dems in high proportion, so that’s not an option either.
I suspect when guys find out they’re about to lose their kids ,half their salary, half their property ,etc, a few here and there do ‘snap’.

This is not a political issue this is a people heart felt thing. There are no words for this. I’m sure all of us hurt when we read this. Beautiful innocent lives have been lost and nothing else matters. So very sorry for those who loved them that are in pain right now.
Cops, military members, truck drivers and doctors all have an extremely high rate of divorce.

Disarm the Police! Just think how many innocent lives would be saved, human and other, if the police didn't have guns. It's time for the liberals to demand that the police in America be disarmed just like the police in England, oh no, wait, then who would protect the liberals.
IIRC, combat troops are the only higher category.

Add in ‘Dear John’ letters,the Mrs getting visits
from ‘Jodie’,ridiculous ROE, and anger ,resentment and violence can ensue.
