So the remaining unsterilized deer will limit their breeding habits because they saw what happened to the others? Is Cayuga Heights an island where once they get these deer down to the correct numbers, no other deer can come into the area? It would be kinda pointless if a neighbor deer can just walk into the place.

“That would still leave us with over 100 deer per square mile,” Supron said.

Are you kidding me?!!

Do they have any plant life left at all?

“100 deer per square mile”

Don’t they officially qualify as a plague at that point?
They’re basically just giant forest rats by then, aren’t they?

This is very cheap when you consider the steps involved with sterilizing a deer:

1. Catch a deer
2. Confirm that the deer is a doe
3. Inform the deer of her reproductive rights IAW Roe v. Wade
4. Enroll the deer in the ACA (Obamacare)
5. Schedule a procedure at the nearest Planned Parenthood facility
6. Insert tracking chip into deer to permit follow-on visits
7. Release the deer into a federally approved wildlife management area

Steps 3-7 are pretty easy. Hiring someone to do Steps 1 and 2 with a live deer costs real money.

For about 4 bucks I can “sterilize” four bucks, and you need not worry about the rest of the dough......

There are too many people there to reintroduce wolves, so this is what they’ve come up with. The Fish and Game department in Montana is going around the state to ask the question “Where have all the deer gone?” The answer is simple. They’ve all been turned into wolf crap.
A government hearing.......

“Yes, this committee understands that hunting is more humane to control the deer population than starvation and disease. However, there are no deer left. So explain to us again why you need rifles and why they shouldn’t be confiscated?”

The more enlightened city fathers in my city simply allowed bow hunting of deer in the city limits with special licenses. Problem solved at far less cost than in New York.
