Mubarak of Algeria claimed to have witnessed the two World Wars, and has 100 grandchildren
An Algerian man believed to be the worlds oldest person died at the age of 130 years in hospital in the North African Arab country after he was admitted two years ago for the first time in his life, newspapers reported on Monday.
Mubarak Rahmani was born in 1884 in a desert village near the border with Libya and he had spent most of his life as a shepherd to support three wives.
Doctors, quoted by local newspapers, said Rahmani fell ill two years ago and was admitted to hospital for the first time in his life.
He was bed ridden in hospital for nearly two years. He died on Saturday, a doctor said, quoted by Algerian newspapers.
Rahmanis favourite food included fresh milk and other dairy products, wheat flour, date, red and green tea. He was known in his town as uncle Mubarak.
RIP.
He looks like he’s been dead for a couple of years in that picture.
That’s 40 years of life per wife. Rush Limbaugh should live to be 160.
Obviously I’m a public school graduate. 3 wives = 43.3...years.
Medical care.
That's easy.
BS in Arabic.
Three wives? No wonder he died.
Actually 3. They forgot the current world war against terror and liberals.
I was wondering if he got a visit from obama.
You jest, but in all seriousness, I think you have a point there.
Obviously taking care of yourself with a sensible diet and reasonable amount of exercise is half the battle (gluttons and couch potatoes tend not to get old) but staying away from the doctor can actually help keep you healthy.
Think about it. Doctors are always looking to prescribe you something. Pills for your blood pressure. Pills for your gall bladder. Pills for your metabolism. Pills for your sex life! So many pills!
Some people take so many pills each day that they have to carry around color-coded trays and set alarms on their cell phones to be reminded when to take them.
I just can't see how all those pills can be good for the human body over the long term.
BTW, I'm talking about vitamin pills and over-the-counter stuff like Tylenol and cold pills as well.
It shows you once again what a risky business it is being the oldest man in the world! I wouldn’t do it if they paid me!
He cheated the system!
No shit. Once Arabs get to be over 112 yrs their memories
really begin to fade or they just start lying because they
crave attention.
Obama
Q: Why do most men die before their wives?
A: They want to!
You are almost certainly correct. This guy’s claim does not show up on Guinness Book of World Records website or any other credible source. According to Wikipedia the oldest verifiable man lived to only 116 years and 54 days.

Heart attack upon receipt of his hospital bill.
He looks a bit used.. But I guess three wives can do that.. jus sayn.. :)
thanks. I was wondering what was going on :-)
