Alright. Who's gonna own up to being that absent minded? Looks like a pretty well tricked out piece to me. Maybe they were on the way to the SHOT show. Did they have any other luggage in the trunk? Also, despite the posters words, this looks like the trunk not the back seat of said rental. Or maybe in that area it's just part of the rental package. How come this stuff never happens to me?

The sight is an EOTECH® EXPS2-2 w/G33 MAGNIFIER. About $900 new.

Its mine! I forgot it there. I figured it got dropped into the swamp with the rest of ‘em when I had the canoe capsize yesterday.

Looked like an EO Tech sight (expensive) and a NV magnifier in front of it. Yep, just a bit tricked-out.....Never saw it.

I hope they didnt find the hi-cap magazines that go with it. They are illegal in some places.

Shouldn’t be to hard to find the owner and return his property.

I would seek to get the property back to the individual who last rented the car. My communication with the rental agency would be:
“I may — or may not — have found something neat that the last renter left in the car. Please give them my phone number.”
If the agency asked me what it was, I would decline to identify it, but I would hint it was only a minor little personal trinket. “”Nothing too special. Just something personal they might like to have back.”
Then when the person called, I would ask him to identify the item. Then I would return it to him or her. This is a very expensive piece of machinery — I would sure like it back if I lost one.

It was a ‘one-fer’. Works nice - glad I have it.

Very, very doubtful: about as likely as finding a dead body in the back seat. Too bad it’s not a bazooka, though.

You must send it to me so that I can track down the rightful owners.

There is no freaking way someone is going to leave that AR in car with knowing it’s missing. This has to be a joke.
