A female driver was stunned after she looked up to see who had crashed into her car and saw there was a Chihuahua behind the wheel.
Tabitha Ormaechea was driving in Spokane, in the US state of Washington, when her tyre was hit by another vehicle.
When she looked to see who the offender was she was confused after spotting a pooch.
[There was] just a little dog up on the steering wheel peeking over, looking at me, she told KREM-TV.
I didnt know if I was crazy, or if this little dog had taken a joyride.
It turned out the car belonged to Jason Martinez and it had been commandeered (accidentally knocked out of gear) by Toby the Chihuahua, while his owner had popped into a shop.
Fortunately no-one was hurt.

Perhaps, but manual transmissions are very rare these days.
I know people who will leave the car running while they do their shopping so poochie will have heat or AC (rather than leaving the dog at home during cold or hot weather).

Didn’t even get that much. We just practiced on each other a few years ago. The guy who learned on me was like 70 years old. His hands were shaky and I had blood dripping down my arm. I attribute my skillz to the darts I threw wasted in college.

Especially if they’re Mexican.
Illegal immigrants that seem never to have any insurance when they plow into you drunk.
To: Slings and Arrows
Probably. But it was early in the morning with few other drivers on the road. Plus the owners were right there in case they screwed up. :)
