What an awful display of liberal media bias.
Jake Tapper lectured former Navy SEAL and war hero Marcus Lutrell about senseless war yesterday. Tapper was talking about the war in Afghanistan, a war that was started only after Al-Qaeda blew up the World Trade Center Towers in New York City kiling 3,000 Americans.
Marcus Latrell let him have it.

CNNs Jake Tapper: One of the emotions that I felt, while watching the film is first of all the hopelessness of the situation how horrific it was and also just all that loss of life of these brave American men. And I was torn about the message of the film in the same way that I think I am about the war in Afghanistan itself. I dont want any more senseless American death. And at the same time I know that there were bad people there and good people that need help.Former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell: I dont know what part of the film you were watching, but hopelessness really never came into it. I mean, where did you see that? Because there was never a point where we just felt like we were hopelessly lost or anything like that. We never gave up. We never felt like we were losing until we were actually dead.
CNNs Jake Tapper: Just the sense of all these wonderful people who died. It seemed senseless. I dont mean to disrespect in any way, but it seemed senseless all of these wonderful people who were killed for an op that went wrong.
Former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell: We spend our whole lives training to defend this country and then we were sent over there by this country so youre telling me because we were over there doing what we were told by our country that it was senseless? And my guys what? They died for nothing?
CNNs Jake Tapper: No.
Former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell: Thats what you said. So, let me just say, it went bad for us over there, but that was our job. Thats what we did. We didnt complain about it.

Reamed him a new one. I felt sorry for Jake...NOT!
Jake Tapper made a mistake and didn’t have the manhood to admit it, apologize and move on. Then he spent hours on Twitter trying to cover his butt.
He can live secure in the knowledge that his eventual senseless death won’t be for his country.
Jake Tapper = typical clueless DS, never outside his entitlement bubble.
Jake got slapped silly.
Good to see.
IMHO
These people can all rot in hell for all I care. Leftist scum.
I wait for the day when someone like Tapper, instead of resorting to utterly lame argumentum ad verecundiam on social media, owns up to -- and apologizes for -- going along with planning the concern trolling in the producer's meeting before the show.
That's where all of this garbage comes from, FReepers. The producers huddle up with the talking head and more or less feed him the string of garbage he's going to parrot for the hour. There's a script with bumps and breaks, the guests, the topics, and the QUESTIONS.
The BEST ones TELL their PRODUCERS how it's going to be -- and that is pretty much just Rush and PhoneJob. I despise PhoneJob but he tells his producers to go flop regularly. The problem with PhoneJob is that a lot of garbage makes it onto his show anyway, and that responsibility lies with him.
The rest do NO homework and thus are open to making rube mistakes like Tapper did.
From the US schoooool of journalism making effeminates.
“”I was torn about the message of the film in the same way that I think I am about the war in Afghanistan itself””
Who asked him what he thought of the war??? Does anyone care what he thinks about the war??? Does anyone care about him at all? Was he not the interviewER?
later
Tapper looked bad squirming in his chair. Two different worlds colliding.
Tapper is right in that the war itself is senseless.
We’re not staying forever and when we leave the Taliban is going to take over again.
The corrupt government we shovel money to in Kabul won’t last much longer than the government the Soviets left behind when they got tired of getting guys killed there.
The question is how many more good Americans die while pretend to ourselves that we’re going to blast a Stone Age country into the 21st century?
Poor Jake. Nice Fella, just wants to make it in the media. Can’t help but be a product of his upbringing. Stop by 8100 more!
Pretty much every member of the media is long overdue for a good solid ass-kicking...
If people like Tapper had their way America would lose every war.
end of the vid:
Tapper: “maybe its just the feeling a civilian gets after watching this versus a soldier”
Wahlberg: “absolutely”
sorry mr tapper & wahlberg- this civilian does not think the war in afgahnistan was unnecessary nor feel the losses of our brave soldiers fighting to protect freedom was “senseless”...
What happened on the side of that mountain is something that is very difficult for a liberal girly man like Tapper to understand. It WASN’T people like Tapper who fought and won the Revolutionary War so America could become a country.
I love that line...I'm going to add it to my arsenal.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
