Sorry to disappoint anyone looking for hitech solutions, but upon occasion I’ll slip a little spurless (but thumb-cockable) S&W Airweight Model 638 in my front pants pocket.

For winter wear, a leather coat with deep pockets. One of my favorite coats had a double pocket on the right side, with one being zippered. Put a snubby revolver in the pocket, and you're good to go.
In winter, nobody finds it unusual to see a man walking around with his hands in his pockets. And the fastest draw is to already have it in your hand. A leather coat also has the advantage of protecting you from knife cuts, to an extent.

I like pants with cargo pockets. They allow you access to the pocket even when driving, whereas your regular pants pocket is not easily accessible when seated and having your seatbelt on.

I like front chest ‘slash pockets’ on parkas for that in winter.

Gangster: No sudden moves. I can shoot you through this jacket pocket without making a hole in it.
Jimmy Olson: How can you do that?
Gangster: By using the hole I made shooting the last guy.
