I’m surprised the Democrats didn’t want to give it amnesty.

Problem solved: Issue a stink bug to every illegal alien.

CA is very fussy about what invasive species get into their state.
Introducing the Trissolcus, a tiny, parasitic wasp from Asia that thrives on destroying brown stinkbugs is a problem of its own.

CA is very fussy about what invasive species get into their state. They don't seem very fussy over invasive illegal mexicans.

Only a lib would haul basil, which weighs nothing, in a shipping container from Mexico to San Francisco instead of freighting it via train or truck.

Good point. Pot is grown and imported illegally on a daily basis but basil must be “inspected”.

Im surprised the Democrats didnt want to give it amnesty. If it voted reliably Democrat, you'd see a markedly different set of policy guidelines.

And how many shipments don’t get checked? Why do we allow produce from that horrible country?

Who cares about some pest, as long as the product was imported at a sizable profit. Get with the program, it’s about profits at all costs, consequences be damned, as long as you make a profit this quarter. If you object to this, then you are one of those anti capitalist DNC-RNC haters.
