I thought about watching Hobbit...But, I watched GRAVITY instead. GRAVITY was slow at times...However, it was a good movie.

I don’t see “The Hunt” on the list.

Place beyond the Pines was so-so
Gravity got boring at times - not much dialogue

Are these really good movies or are they politically approved movies (by Medved)? I want decent movies that don’t push the liberal prospective but they also have to be good, not just politically acceptable.

Of these films the only one I've seen is The Place Beyond the Pines which was, frankly, about 30 minutes worth of movie crammed jammed into a whole 3 hours. My advice: watch is x4 and you will miss nothing.

I can't listen to Medved, and don't really care what movies he liked. I can't remember the last time I saw a movie in a theatre.
His whole 'Losertarian' shtick lost me a long time ago.

The Hobbit is a very good movie. Much, much better than the first one. Lots more action and the CG dragon, Smaug, is terrifically done.

The new Hobbit movie was lousy IMO.
Gravity was better.
