Some info has come out just recently and I posted it to chat.
It got pulled with a comment by the Admin Moderator "No link, no dice"
Since when does a chat item require a link?
If all a sudden, an earthquake happens, can we not post it because of no link yet?
Honestly I can't see posting any breaking news with these types of undefined rules.
But it's ok if some Korean guy gets eaten by dogs and we get 14 threads about it...
Comments? Does anybody know the rules?
No one is claiming that you are being false, or deceptive...but since you mention it, I remember pulling a thread about an earthquake that turned out not to be an earthquake just a few weeks ago.
We have a Religion Mod for that, thank God. ;)
A nice piece of Muenster in fact.
I think that what you posted was fine. Anyone with any smarts is going to take your news as Unproven and not consider it gospel, Yet likely true considering your length of time here.
Your only mistake is that you really should state where you are getting the information from even if there is nothing to link to. That might have made a difference.
George Goodman, Aka TV's "Adam Smith," Dies at 83
Now I ask you. Which is worse?
Japan or El Hierro? There was also one in or about...Missouri?
The Religion Mod just called in sick.
So. YOU have to go moderate that Ravenous Wolves thread.
Bwa Haa Haaaaaa!!!!!
That item was posted on the local TV station as breaking news.
Countless times I have seen items talked about on local news, gone to the web site for the station, and found nothing at all about what they announced on live TV.
Doesn’t mean it didn’t happen, or wasn’t news, just means they have not updated their web site yet.
I’m not sure what to do then.
Just heard the following on my local radio WKRP and can hardly believe my ears
< unbelievable boondoggle description here >
Maybe just make a post on the thread already started.
Thanks for the updated info, btw.
Something Called "The Object" Stops World's Largest Tunneling Machine
start yourself a blog, then post it there and excerpt yourself here to drive hits to there...and then duck
Here is your confirmation:

I had a web site in the mid 90’s, got hundreds of thousands of hits.
Too much like work!
Ate up by eight dogs...in Thailand.
How could WA permit a huge steel pipe and then forget they did it? And what’s that huge steel pipe doing? This is red-tape on Xanax.
There was no engineer to say, hey, we need to detour around the ‘huge steel pipe’ here?
Cute and confused? Please PM me...
I think you posted it as news story without a source, rather than making it clear it was a news conference on live TV
A mention of the station might have helped and the fact that it was on TV live would have made a big difference
The mods may have been quick on the trigger too...
