. . . Police say the shootout began around 1:45 a.m. Thursday when police were called to the Glass House by Windsor building after Schmidt told an employee there that he had a break-in. The two then hid in the apartment office, according to dispatch recordings.
When officers arrived, Schmidt barricaded himself in a hallway near the high-rises lobby and fired several shots at them, authorities said. The officers took cover.
Police said officers tried to negotiate with Schmidt, but he continued shooting and they were forced to return fire, killing him. No officers or other residents were injured, police said. . . . . .

Considering the number of innocents gunned down by Dallas police recently who then lied about the incidents but were caught on video . . . .

Did this report come from Agent Smith?

(I could eat it raw, but why do that when I have a fire.)
To: fella
Apartment owner reports break in and cops then shoot apartment owner.
I wonder what the 11 year old daughter has to say about it (she was there).
They were “forced” to shoot him. Why can’t they back the hell off and get more information/wait it out before they go in guns blazing?

Suicide by cop? Although it sounds like he wanted to take a few of them with him.

It wouldn’t be the first time police were called into an ambush.

Why cant they back the hell off and get more information/wait it out before they go in guns blazing? Bullets whizzing by my head is all the information I need.

Either the cops are lying or as you say, suicide by cop.
