Upon close inspection, it turns out some of the performers also had ‘counterfeit goods’.
However, no charges were filed.

"Brockton cops and Homeland Security raided a strip club authorities say was peddling fake Red Sox and Patriots gear in exchange for lap dances... Wait, typically (or so I've heard) in strip clubs the customers give money for lap dances from the girls. So does this mean the girls gave lapdances in exchange for fake shirts? Or was the place offering customers free shirts with purchase of a lapdance? Either way this place sounds awesome.

a strip club authorities say was peddling fake Red Sox and Patriots gear in exchange for lap dancesNot exactly. The club was selling them or giving them away as souvenirs. Not exchanging them for lap dances. I strongly suspect the club and dancers want money for their services, not fake jerseys.

Another government agency retasked to providing mafia-like muscle for corporations instead of doing its job. Smells like the Gibson guitar raid all over again.

And one more thing - a glaring example of government overreach. Since when does it make sense for the Federal Homeland Security Department to be spending taxpayer's dollars aiding a group of wealthy businessmen to increase their profits. This case looks like an example of trademark infringement, which is a civil cause of action. Let Mr. Kraft hire his own lawyers instead of making the rest of us pay for them.
DHS should be protecting us from terrorists, like the Tsarnev brothers. Maybe the reason DHS was too busy to follow up on the Russian reports of their terrorist activities was that they were all at the Foxy Lady in Brockton checking out the T shirts on the employees. Just to make sure they didn't have counterfeit logos.

This is a modern day American morality tale. It portrays the decadence and decay now permeating American culture. The only thing missing was now the cops in Massachusetts are likely to have more than a few homosexuals in their midst with subplots of their own.

Won’t be long and it will be just Homeland Security without the local police...They aren’t restricted by the Constition...

My powers of deduction indicate that certain people in Providence might be connected to a strip club in Brockton.

Employees at the Foxy Lady Brockton were wearing some of the knock-off sports teams shirts when investigators showed up for the strip club sweep Friday afternoon and found about $10,000 worth of counterfeit gear, said Brockton police Lt. Paul Bonanca. Left them with nothing to wear, no doubt.

As you're receiving your lap dance, the stripper offers to sell a "souvenir" - the shirt off of her back - for $10. As the semi-nude dancer squirms on your lap, it's important to know that the t-shirt she just peeled off is properly licensed by the NFL, that it's quality construction and has the proper thread count, right?
Kudos to those intrepid men in blue, dedicated to protecting the public from these unscrupulous scammers. The lap-dance buying public can sleep soundly tonight, knowing Boston's finest are protecting their rights.

Homeland security? Really. Actual enforcement of counterfeiting laws while HDHS assists human traffiking at the southern border. Sickening
