Brockton cops and Homeland Security raided a strip club authorities say was peddling fake Red Sox and Patriots gear in exchange for lap dances and seized the counterfeit goods — part of a growing problem that one expert says is not necessarily a victimless crime.
Employees at the Foxy Lady Brockton were wearing some of the knock-off sports teams shirts when investigators showed up for the strip club sweep Friday afternoon and found about $10,000 worth of counterfeit gear, said Brockton police Lt. Paul Bonanca.
“We seized various boxes of sports shirts,” Bonanca said. “The same jerseys sometimes sell for $200 at the store.”

My powers of deduction indicate that certain people in Providence might be connected to a strip club in Brockton.
Left them with nothing to wear, no doubt.
Homeland Security being involved is really going to steam the FBI. Dealing with La Cosa Nostra is what the FBI considers their home turf.
Barack Hussein Obama tasked Homeland Security with copyright enforcement for Big Hollywood.
They have to tap the internet to tackle the scourage of illegal movie downloading.

I keep hearing that movies are one of America’s biggest export products. Except that they are foreign produced (shot on location in New Zealand, Canada, Eastern Europe, etc. to avoid labor unions) for reduced costs.
We have way too much government! The USSA is land of the free no more.
Plus, it is so difficult to get volunteers to go on a topless bar raid.

My uncle was a NYC Detective ,, he had a case where a “performers” handbag was stolen backstage at a club .... in the late 1960’s ... he kept that case open until he retired and diligently visited that club and many others looking for his suspect for over 20 years...

Know the whole story. But Whitey and Stevie were the only ones who got the VIP treatment. The boys in the North End and down in Providence, plus Howie Winter and the other guys from Somerville did not.
