Now that’s just real pretty. I have a problem using up celery. I like a handful in soup, tuna salad and chicken salad.

But it doesn’t fit into my crisper drawer either, so it doesnt’ keep well. Now if I chopped off the bottom, it would fit in the crisper and last longer too.

Then I could have some additonal use from the stumps.

I think Texokie did something similar.

Cool picture! I had a lot of fun trying out the root powder! We don’t have much of a place in our house for plants, so I don’t try to maintain one indoors. But if I had a place for it, I surely would!

I use celery diced in most of my veggie sautee starts for soups and other dishes, but we seem to go in cycles. Sometimes we can’t keep it on hand, then other times I have to throw it away because it waited too long.

I also like to grab it for a quick snack. I always chop the stump off the celery before putting it into the fridge so I can get at it. It doesn’t fit well into my crisper either, so I usually place it against the side wall of the fridge and stack lettuce or other greens on top of it.
