“Interestingly enough, the factory speedometer in the LCD display appears to be dead-on accurate. “
The above say something about peoples expectations; geeez, in this day of electronic and microchip advancement speedometers OUGHT to be dead on.

Between GPS and wheels speeds, vehicular speed instrument accuracy should be better than one percent at speeds above 10 mph.

I’ve been on that toll road. Speed limit is 85 mph. I can do 90 easily in my 8 year old Xterra. It is indeed an awesome road.
If that C7 is only doing 200; I wonder why they held back?

Nice to see they closed off the road
The driver was wearing a helmet, but at 200 MPH, he isn't wearing a helmet, the helmet is wearing him. </Seinfeld>

Regardless of circumstance I’m impressed at the stability of the car, largely factory spec, at 200 mph. I’ve taken cars to 140 mph before and it gets a little spooky, to be quite honest, minor imperfections in the pavement set the suspension off, I really don’t like any hint of instability at such speeds. So, this is impressive, as I mentioned.

At 200 mph, you’re not driving a car, you’re aiming it.
