George P. needs to be crushed like a bug in the primary. Humiliated, to send a message. No more Bushes in power at ANY level, ever again.

Sure he is in line with the Tea Party. [/s]

He’s a Bush; don’t believe it!

Remember ‘compassionate conservative’ and how that worked out?

He’s a bowel movement, not a conservative.

Look at his open borders stance and attacks on Border Patrol.

Will never vote for him.

He’s a big fan of the TEA party.

That’s actually why I posted this.

Is he really?

Do you know if he actually supports the tea party? Likewise, are his positions consistent with the tea party?

Thanks.

OK, you guys want to bash him because of his last name, that’s your right. I choose to judge people by their ideas and accomplishments, rather than their name or skin color or whatever...but that’s just me.

Here’s the more interesting question: why is his bothering to say this at all? If all he had to do was “be a Bush”, why wouldn’t he just go with that?

If he really is a conservative like he claims, he can work for conservatism without asking people to vote for him and prove his convictions.

I was quoting John Boehner.

All the RINOs are pretending to pay lip service to the conservative movement.

They're all conservatives now.

PS - Being a "big fan" of the TEA party means you define yourself as being on the outside looking in.

Here’s a few facts to toss in the pot and bash:

Lawyer, Naval reservist, intelligence officer, served in Afghanistan under an assumed name so none of his co-warriors had an opportunity to bash him just for being a Bush. Married, Catholic, spoke out against shooting illegals with chile powder rounds and called Hugo Chavez a dictator.

So, that in the eyes of FR perfectionists means he’s right up there with Stalin.

And when asked in 2003 about whether he planned to run for office himself, Bush replied that his grandmother, Barbara Bush, had advised that anyone thinking about entering politics should distinguish himself in some other field first: “Make a name for yourself, have a family, marry someone great, have some kids, buy a house, pay taxes, and do the things everyone also does instead of just running out and saying, ‘Hey, I’m the nephew of or the son of or the grandson of...’.”

Those damned Bushes...we’re so much better with Clintons, liberal democrats, and whoever George Soros likes.

To get through the primaries. Then it’s GOPe all the way.
