Al Gore predicted the North Polar Ice Cap would be completely ice free in five years. Gore made the prediction to a German audience in 2008. He told them that “the entire North ‘polarized’ cap will disappear in 5 years.”

When he was VP he called some major newspaper because they put a picture of Earth taken from a space probe on the cover. He told them they printed the Earth upside down. They told him there is no right side up in space.

AGW is a farce. And obviously the ice sheet is not gone. The recent image compared to the 1980 does show the ice sheet (purple) is slightly smaller in a few parts along the edges. Looks like its “concentration” over the major mass though is more. The huge difference of course is in the snow. Neat image.
It will be interesting to see what that image looks like in another 10 years if we continue on the global cooling trend (which I predict will continue).

You know David Rohl is a Facebook friend of mine. A few hours ago he posted a picture from Egypt, of the Sphinx covered with snow. Now I’m wondering how the Egyptians would have kept warm, if this happened in ancient times. Most of them only had linen to wear, and they didn’t wear a lot of it.
