I see your high temperature, tomorrow, is minus 2 ... hooboy!
Sorry. Deep South here.
It’s 52F and 93% humidity.
It feels like it’s 65.
T-shirts and shorts.
Really Christmas-y.
Tell you what-
I’ll trade you 20 degrees. You can be warmer and I can be colder.
Fortunately (weather-wise) I reside in So. Cal. It’s 52 right now and I’m wearing a sweater.
When I was in the Air Force it went like this:
Why not? Minot,,,,
Freezin, is the reason.
“It’s 14 below zero.”

Al Goreon, please pick up the courtesy phone.....
Anyway, I thought that was quite normal for winter in North Dakota. I remember a 12 below in Memphis, back in the 60s.
Now that was something for a southern city.
Nothing is better than when your beer gets colder as you’re drinking it!
Hell, 14 below in Minot is almost balmy to North Dakotans.
Its 75 here in Tampa. But of course not all of the girls in bikinis at the beach are pretty.
WTH!!!! Al Gore told us that snowy and cold winters were a thing of the past back in 2008! Funny thing we are suppose to get snow here in Washington D.C. tomorrow and it isn’t even winter yet....... Dang.
There probably are Freepers in Minot, ND. But the Internet bit-flow has slowed down to a standstill because of the cold. Pretty near the bottom of the Kelvin chart there.
This Texan lived in Williston for several years. That’s where I learned what cold was—LOL!
Loved the people up there, though. Salt of the earth.
I know about the boom going on there, and I hope a lot of folks are getting rich—but sure don’t like the idea of Williston with hi-rises and apartment houses as far as the eye can see.

A few years ago I went through White Fish, MT on AMTRAK in December. At night. The bank across the street from the station read -50 ... you’re not there yet. :)
My hometown is just east of Minot.
My dad was Air Force but never stationed there.
Never stopped being proud of AF or ND however.
btw it’s 20 below just a ways west into Montana...
Look on the bright side—no mosquitos!
