Safari browser, if that helps.
You are now a member of Communist Republic, FR's bizarro website.
We voted you off the island. Now you know.
Use the convenience settings AND make sure your browser does NOT automatically clear history, cookies and temporary files on exit.
It is easy to accidentally set Firefox to forget everything, which includes the fact you signed on to FR.
yer a blonde and yer from Californee ... yer on the watch list.
Yeah, that just happened to me twice in a row on my PC. And I’m not any newbie here. It’s not you , there’s something screwy going on.
Yes, I am FWB so go easy on me.

We should have a FWB ping list.

Are you now, or have you ever been, a reader of DUmmieCrat Underground?
The info about your cache being cleared due to a security setting is likely the reason, but if your tablet shuts down abnormally, it can also mess up your cache.
It can only be cookies.
But I know nothing of ipads or safari.
Who’s ‘anew’?
What’s a gnu?
Nothing, what’s anew with you?
It depends what kind of cookie blocker or cleaner you have (or maybe several of them). Most of them allow you to insert a list of cookies you want to keep. I do that with FreeRepublic, Amazon, and a couple of other sites where the cookies are useful for one reason or another. I use CCleaner once a week to clean out the ones that aren’t listed.
You have cookies blocked, or your OS is clearing cookies.
I logged out one time when we moved. i think it was in ‘06 for about a week. ;o)
Make sure that Safari is not configured for ‘Private Browsing’. If it is, you will have to log in repeatedly.
Lord, but I love vanity threads such as these. The posts are a hoot. :-)
Ah, no mention of cheese. And, of course, all your login are belong to us!
In settings, for Safari, click Accept Cookies - “From visited”
Maybe that will make a difference?

I was able to log on to your iPad with no problems. Still am.

haha. me too Yaelle. Good luck with your resolution btw. I'll have to check it out but I've not had this problem (yet). I'll check how I got beyond this hurdle and get back later if I find out.
And here I thought it was a Windows update.
It IS irritating. Or it may have been an FR update that went haywire; i.e. not setting cookies to verify membership.
I have the same problem running Windows 7 on an old Pentium 4 desktop.
Just started doing it this morning, Dec 4, 2013.
