I am using the same ipad I always use. I've almost never needed to log in. Now I need to log in each time I arrive. Not fun. I can't find anything that keeps you logged in. The thing marked extra convenient claims to, but it doesn't.
Been a donating Freeper for 13 years, never seen a moose, and I have showered recently. And I am logged in. But sick of logging in!
I don’t see anything “from visited.” On an ipad.
If you purchase a new Nexus 7 from Google, they’ll ship it with a free box of Kit Kat cookies.
Yes iPad. I have one next to me. On the main screen you have an icon that says “Settings” — it is grey and has gears illustrated on it. click that.
A screen appears, and near the bottom left column is an icon of Safari with the word safari next to it. Click that.
another screen list appears in the right side column. Under the second category, Privacy, are two choices. Click Private Browsing to “off”. Click Accept Cookies to the setting “from visited”
These settings should get you to the compatibility with FR so you do not have to log in every time from an iPad.
If not, maybe someone else here knows more than me.
You may need to do a soft reset on the iPad, which is pushing the round button at bottom of the screen and the On button at the top edge of the iPad at the same time. Then click Safari, log in to FR, and see if it remembers you next time you go to the website.
I hope this helps. If not maybe you might have to resort to temporarily dying your hair another color for a few hours until it auto corrects?
With regards,
Flying Eagle
Yes , it’s happening to me . For about a month . Very annoying .
Ummmm...lets try eBay, or maybe Craig’s list. :-)
never seen a moose

Thats just it...
One bit your sister...
haha. me too Yaelle. Good luck with your resolution btw. I'll have to check it out but I've not had this problem (yet). I'll check how I got beyond this hurdle and get back later if I find out.
And here I thought it was a Windows update.
It IS irritating. Or it may have been an FR update that went haywire; i.e. not setting cookies to verify membership.
I have the same problem running Windows 7 on an old Pentium 4 desktop.
Just started doing it this morning, Dec 4, 2013.
If you have retained the cookies (which is usually a default setting) you've already told the computer you have signed into the site and there is no need to do this again. If you get rid of cookies each time it deletes this knowledge.
A cookie basically recognizes you and your info. This is why if you put some stuff in a shopping cart on a website and left the site and came back to it a day later your stuff is still in the shopping basket. (from one blonde to another--haha)
Am I logged in?
This is hugh and series!
If you purchase a new Nexus 7 from Google, theyll ship it with a free box of Kit Kat cookies.
Do I have to delete all the cookies in the cookie box? Cause I have those maple leaf ones.
Get it to automatically put in ‘Yaelle’ and your password, then all you have to touch is ‘Login’. And I’m glad I doublechecked since Kindle autocorrect was going to have you tap ‘Loving’.
“For a good time .... FR!”
Ready to dye my hair because my cookies settings are correct. This isn’t in the cookie settings.
I’m so glad it isn’t just me. At least 3 of us have this happening. Moderators or tech people, take note and check on this.
>>A blonde ping list would be great!<<
I didn’t even know ping lists had hair color.
But, just in case
PAGING LAZ — GAGGLE OF BLONDS GATHERING!!!
I always clear all of my cookies, so I must log in.. but that is my own choice.
One difference I HAVE noticed, in about the past month or so, is that I can no longer edit my own FR HomePage... when I click on the edit, it throws me back to that last FR page I was on :/
Enable cookies?
OK, so, what color is your hair today?
;-))
My hair is still quite blonde and I am still thrown out every time I leave FR.
Can we please have some kind of “stay logged in” button for FR?
