Richland County, (Columbia) SC A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing Sunday.
Edward William Bright, 47, was charged with assault and battery second degree in connection with the incident, Richland County Sheriffs Department spokesman Sgt. Curtis Wilson said.
Just after 6 p.m. in the 300 block of Lakeridge Parkway, deputies found two men who had allegedly argued over dinnerware to use for a meal when one of the men stabbed the other with a steak knife, Wilson said.
The man who was stabbed several times in the upper body was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Wilson said.
Ya.....I know I had few choice words about our unpolished silver......
It wasn’t those two “Moonshiner” morons from South Carolina was it? You know, those two who argue about everything and have yet to make any decent moonshine?
Well, it’s in one of those neighborhoods where you don’t go at night — or broad daylight. Probably too much Ripple and they got in a scuffle about whether to use the Thanksgiving paper plates or the Christmas paper plates.
“I’ll show you medium rare.”
It’s a good thing we didn’t mention the dirty spoon.
“Never kill a customer.”
Kind of have to hope so really. If not wow. Asylums need to be brought back. /s
“The steak knife is too long”.
The favorite drink of the Rum Demon.
Did the dinnerware choice not match the glassware or did the “couple” fight over dinnerware vs. china?
Flatware is much more sophisticated for a knifing.
Two men arguing over dinnerware in South Carolina, leading to a stabbing? Alcohol and homosexuality were involved, I’d say. Is the Graham residence nearby?
If it was really worth arguing, the flatware would have been either a Francis I steak knife or Burgandy.
No doubt the argument was about hand washing or dishwasher.

My first thought.
Turns out they are brothers.
