Fights over items greatly reduced have taken place at Walmart stores in Beaumont, Texas; Jordan Creek in Iowa; Johnson City in Tennessee and Rialto in California. There was also a stabbing in a Walmart car park outside Walmart in Claypool Hill, Virginia.

We have to ban assault type knives.
Ready for the punchline? Unless things have changed in the last couple of years, Wal Mart will restock most of these items at the same prices before Christmas.

Wouldn’t it be more effective to ban assault-type people? :-)
I went to Walmart last night because I needed to go to the grocery store. Not too bad. No different than a Sunday afternoon.
Retailers arrange ahead of time for suppliers to "mark up" certain items so it appears they are passing on huge bargains to their customers. In many cases, it is a crafty way for manufacturers to get rid of unsold product that they were going to write off anyway - usually cheap "no-name" brands of CD players, VCRs, TVs, etc.
So those piles of $29 DVD players at Wal-Mart were likely sitting in warehouses gathering dust, destined for landfills. Just cheap crap that will probably break within a year or two.
How many stabbings will occur when hospitals announce greatly reduced prices for health care (and, especially, trauma care) and the resulting mob starts getting violent to be let in?
This country has gone to the dogs Henry. Avert your eyes Mary. I've booked passage on
the next ship back to England.
A lot of this junk ends up at garage sales within 6 months.
I’ve bought many things that still had wrapping paper bits still attached to the box!
Even early, there are often coupons and deals on shipping.
I am content with what I already own.
I do not “need” the latest tech gadgets.
I occupy a place, whether small or large, in my across-town S.O’s heart.
I arose, and watched the sun rise, today, with coffee mug in hand.
Nothing more do I require.
I guess the stores hate with a passion, my kind.
I like the big guy in the orange red jacket. He certainly got in there and stopped it.
So, there were no incidents at any stores other than Walmart?
The leftstream media has their narrative, and they’re sticking to it.
Being hated isn’t so bad.
Unfortunately, I had to do so as well. Like your visit, there were not (yet) so many folks there, but those that were there were all lined up in the aisles at certain places in the stores because WM had placed the high dollar coveted items throughout the store for obvious reasons. (Darn, I’d hate to have to diagram that last sentence!) At my store, Sheriff’s deputies and local city police were omnipresent throughout along with EMS personnel in front and inside. Actually, for those of us who needed to get in and out quickly with just a few items, it was a royal PITA.
Last night the Super Walmart in our town had the largest crowd I’d ever seen there, but it was also quite orderly.
“Jordan Creek in Iowa;”
Very close to me. Have to check that out! Nothing on the news here
The other 20%, when I know they want something specific, I just go over to Amazon.com and order it that way.
It is my goal to never enter a single retail store (except maybe to buy a gift card) between Thanksgiving and New Year's!
