Very cool. Petra Island is in Lake Mahopec in an area that's really nice. I did some quick research...both houses on the island were designed by Wright, but only one was built by him.

Having an island retreat that isolated, not ocean property and so close to NYC is a good idea. They're surrounded by fresh water and have enough land to be self-sustainable.

If I were a zillionaire, it would've been my first purchase. <^..^>

I used to ride motorcycles with a group from Madison Wis. One of them was a huge FLW fan and worked with the foundation. He bowed out on a ride once because of weather. I told him that after spending so much time in FLW buildings he should be used to being cold, wet and uncomfortable. Hasn't spoken to me since.
